With the development and distribution of various COVID-19 vaccines at play, the opportunity to return to “normal” shopping routines seems like a possibility. However, only 56% of shoppers currently signal plans to get a vaccine when available, and shopping behavior may not change all that much. For example, Kantar ShopperScape® December data proves the permanency of the role of online in a COVID-vaccine era, with 27% of shoppers indicating being more likely to shop online even as vaccinations start.
